I graduated from Las Cruces High School and attended NMSU, where I earned a Bachelor's in Accounting and a Master's in Accountancy. With 17 years of financial governmental experience, including 16 years in County government, my roles have ranged from Accountant, Payroll Manager, Accounts Payable Manager, and Senior Budget Officer. Currently I am serving as the Chief Deputy Treasurer where I have gained the knowledge and experience to ensure that the office is in good hands! I am passionate about the future of my community, and that's why I aim to make a difference using my experience and background in finance.
